Sizing your Wendesign skating dress
With all skating dresses listed on this site, we will be providing four measurements. It is imperative that you check these measurements and compare them to the skater's. We try to provide a variety of sizes of dresses, in both torso length and width, since, as we've learned over the years, skaters come in all shapes and sizes. Because all of our skating dresses are individiually cut, we can manipulate our patterns to cover a larger range of sizes, whereas all manufactureres do not have that luxury. With that in mind, we ask that you carefully compare sizing and if you have any questions or require any further measurements (ie: sleeve or skirt length), please contact us.
Full rise (girth) measurement - We do this just a bit differently! Start by placing the tape measure at the base of the skater's neck in the front, run it down thru the crotch and straight up his/her back to the vertebrae that sits out at the back base of their neck (if they tilted their head slightly forward).
There will be a two or three inch stretch allowance with each measurement (depending on how stretchy the fabric is). For example - a chest measurement of 24-26" would indicate that the chest on the dress measures 24" unstretched, but would comfortably fit a skater with a chest up to 26". Same rule would apply to the full rise (girth).
Shipping
Canada - We will charge the actual Canada Post rate (no handling charge) which usually ranges from $6-$10 Cdn for Expedited shipping (delivery in 2-6 working days). Please email me for a quote if you require the item more quickly or have any questions.
U.S.A. - There are basically three choices:
Xpedited shipping for $11.90 USD for delivery in approx. 6-10 working days and includes insurance (this is the shipping method included if you pay using the site's PayPal buttons).
Xpresspost shipping for $17.95 for delivery in 3-5 working days and also, includes insurance.
Insurance is included for items with a value up to $65 USD. Add $1.00 USD for every additional $100 needed.

International Destinations - We will ship to all countries, but obviously the price will vary, depending on where and how quickly the dress is needed. Please email me for a price.

Canadian buyers - please note that 6% G.S.T. will be added to all orders.
There are three options available for payment. Please see your choices on the right. We will not ship out any order until payment has been made in full. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
On custom skating dress orders, 40% of the quoted price is due upfront, prior to any work being started. The deposit is non-refundable. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact us.
