Last Tuesday (March 25th) was a remarkable day as Wendie and I joined respected local leaders to mark a significant milestone: our 50th anniversary. This special occasion was enhanced by the presence of Mayor Post, Councillor Andrews, and Becky from Economic Development & Culture. They presented us with a certificate from the Town of Orangeville, adding a meaningful touch to our celebration.
Being recognized by our local government is profoundly impactful. It not only reflects our dedication over the past five decades but also showcases the support and appreciation we receive from the community.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Reaching fifty years of service is an extraordinary achievement, particularly in today's fast-paced world where businesses often struggle to maintain their footing. As we reflect on these five decades, it’s striking to see how much has changed in our industry. For instance, we’ve witnessed the rise of technology transforming customer interactions, shifting from face-to-face meetings to online consultations.
One example of resilience comes from the challenges posed by economic downturns. Wendesign has been able to adapt our techniques and patterns to align with current trends and most recently during COVID, when there was no skating, we pivoted our business to provide masks, surgical caps and tennis skirts. Our commitment to quality service and products has been crucial during tough periods. These two new branches of Wendesign still continue to flourish - CharismaCaps.com and WendesignCanada.com
Thank you to Mayor Post, Councillor Andrews and Becky!
